Just managed to find a little fresh grass in a field this morning!what a change in 7 days! went out with my mobilty scooter and trailer to foraged some greens.this is the big herd,the chilly piggie,my 12yr old grand daugther made,its3ft long and 1 ft high and still here a week on.

l'm luck that the grass and wild plants are starting to grow now,managed to pick about 10lbs,manely grass,danilion,cleves,yarrow and wild parsly. that will last about 3 days.l have 42 piggies.Just managed to find a little fresh grass in a field this morning!

Oh my! Then there is me with only 2. I only want at most 10 until I build my pig farm.
That's sweet. I would do the same thing.these are all rescued piggies, my eldest died last week at 101/2. The end of last year,l took in 7 pregnant females in one rescue, (sadly one died) whom between them had 23 babies.7 were males, which were adopted to homes l know. (l do not breed) the females were bonded into the main herd. yes, it can be work, but they give me a reason to get up in the mornings.and for that reason alone l will spend my last pennies on them.
