Today I saw two gorgeous female Guinea's for sale on a dreaded facebook page.

They came with an indoor cage, so I thought... Why not?

I went to collect them tonight with the hubby and they are STUNNING! They're so tame and full of personality.

I put their cage next to my male guinea's cage. They can see each other but cannot get to each other. Anyway, they used to be outdoor Guinea's. I keep mine indoor. I was wondering if I needed to anything differently?

Here they are

aw they are beautiful girlies! Really very cute. Can I ask, when you went to pick them up were they unloved piggies or just couldn't take care of them anymore?

The lady said she had asthma? She'd had them for 8 months, she had a lot of other pets so maybe she didn't have enough time for them. One seems to be quite a bit thinner than the other but they do not seem to be in bad condition.

Thank you for the lovely comments, they're very lovely piggies :))

Congrats on getting your new piggies! They're are gorgeous! x)

So far you seem to be doing great! Plenty of hay which is fab. :) People on here usually prefer pellets (harringtons is a good and cheap brand) because piggies tend to be less picky and it helps them get an all rounded diet which they need to be happy and healthy. Make sure you introduce any new food including veggies slowly so they don't get an upset tummy :) x

There are pellets underneath obsessedwithanimals, I use Harringtons Optimum :) Also they lady told me they like celery and parsley. Luckily for me so does my boy so I had lots of veggies in. Thanks for the comments and tips. I love this forum x)

Great! :) My pigs love Harringtons :) Just wondering how big their cage is?

Keep looking at the pic, can't get over how fluffy they are. drool

the little brown and white piggy on the right hand side looks like a little toy, aw.... blessss they're such cutey pies. Oh well their loss and your gain. When I was looking for a cage for my piggys quite a few people replied saying cage for sale with piggys which I thought was really sad x

Their cage is 2ft by 4ft. I also have a run that I put up so they can stretch their legs.

Mizzpigz - Sassy is a little madam :)) I am so happy right now!

Yep, I hate those selling pages :(
