Hi, I have two boars, I can remember there exact ages but they are about 8 months and 5 months. I have moved house and hutches recently and while Clyde (the older one) has always been more dominant, tommy came out of his shell a little bit in the first couple of days a bit more (hes very shy)
The last two days though I have noticed Clyde chasing amd rumbling at Tommy, there was even some teeth chatter today.
Is this jusy because of the new enviroment?
I should mention on the move I had them both in the same cat carrier and they did have a big bust up and I had to separate them, but I thought that was just because of the confined space...
They did get in welll before
If anyone could give me there advice that would ne great
Thanks

In a new environment they have to reestablish the hierarchy again. It sounds like that is what is going on.

Great that you have given them more space. They are currently re-establishing their hierarchy in new territory. It should hopefully calm down again eventually.

Thanks, yeah I thought they needed a bigger hutch as one of them is a bery big boy! They seem to have calmed down a little bit. I moved them last Sunday, should I be leaving them alone for a while or still getting them out? They have got a lot more skittish as well with me! Also do you have any tips on keeping them snug? They are already in a shed with a cover and hides and lotd of hay.

Cardboard boxes full of hay, insulated cover for hutch and I think they are called snuggle safes that you put in the microwave

I have heard mixed reviews on snuggle safes, but thanks :)

Ah! I have got my pigs out tonight. They were fine to start with, then the submissive one flew at the other and there was alot of teeth chattering from both sides, the normally dominant one kept trying to say hello to the other one after this and he just kept being aggressive to him :( is this the end?

I just remembered that when I went to check on them earlier they were snuggled together and they snuggled on my lap to start with too! Confusing piglets
