Ok so I re- introduced my boys last night and all seemed to be going well until around 2am when there was a chorus of teeth chattering, so I walked over to them and watched them and Twix started lunging at Rolo, so I immediately seperated them with a divider down their cage. I dont know what set it off! They seemed to be doing so well! So I removed the divider this morning and they both seem quiet, there has been some squeaking going on and a lot of dominancy displays from both of them, they have played follow the leader a couple of times and now they are both sat next to eachother eating their hay. Is this a good idea to give them a second chance together? Or should I just leave them seperate? I have read the boar guide but i am still unsure any help you can give would be much appreciated!

Thank you for the threads, the one on the differentiation between boars being aggressive and boars showing dominancy behaviour was the one I had already read (: The second was super helpful ! thank you! However in their little falling out there was no blood drawn, just loud teeth chattering and some lunging, I seperated them before they could do any damage to one another. I have been watching them all morning now and there hasn't been any teeth chattering, there has been a lot of rumble strutting and some squeaking, is this normal? Would you say these are good signs?

That sounds OK to me. Lunging is usually not a good sign.

Yes, it's why i seperated them my heart leapt and I rushed over and put the divider in straight away! There hasn't been any lunging today, there has been some nipping but no blood has been drawn, they are very quite now just going along with their own business, Rolo is in the tube and Twix is in his box hidey. Before, they were even sitting next to eachother while they were eating their hay! So should I leave them be for now and just keep an eye on them?
