hey everyone. I've been feeding my piggies fresh grass from a garden a little far from my home. Each time i go there I cut 2 bags and bring home.I keep them for 2 -3 days and then it goes bad.do you have any ideas on how I can keep grass fresh for a longer time at home? they also don't like it dried.

As soon as grass is cut it begins to break down which can be bad for piggies. To be honest, i wouldn’t cut it and then try to keep it for any length of time. There can also be issues with other animals urinating on grass - id be very wary of feeding grass from a public area
Is there any way you can grow some grass in pots at home? That way you can have a supply and you’ll know it is safe?

Eventually i think i need to grow it at home .It takes some time to get the pot, the soil, ....but for the time being I have no other option.Because i dont have access to timothy hay or any other hay ! I have to make do with what I got.

When you bring the grass home immediately spread it out in a single layer onto something absorbent like newspaper or an old towel - it will start to dry out a little but this should stop it going bad quite so quickly.
The over time start to mix some of the drier grass with the fresh grass to help your piggies get used to it.
Well done for finding a way to source grass for your guinea pigs.
