Hello,

We're trying to get our pigs to a stage where they can be totally free range around the flat. We've been making the flat safe in terms of wires etc. and also got a non-chew spray for the furniture which seems to work well. We have our two boars kind of fenced in across half the living room/kitchen at the moment and want to eventually take this away.

Firstly, does anyone have totally free range piggies?

Secondly, can you recommend ways to litter train them (or at least for the majority of their droppings)?

Finally, what should I put in any litter tray or litter box I'll get? Newspaper? Carefresh? Some kind of piggy safe kitty litter stuff (if any exist)?

Thanks

I think some people manage to train the piggies to pee in the litter tray but i never know they can train the piggie to poo there as well.

personally i think it's too risky for piggies to go complete free range in the house as they like to chew about everything unless you are willing to spray the whole house...
