Hi. We have just taken up a seasonal pitch with our caravan so I am planning to take our 4 piggies with us when we go away. I need to source a fox proof hutch / run which we could set up and house them whilst we are there. It doesn't have to be transportable as I can set it up at the beginning of the season and leave it there.

I am expecting there to be foxes in the area so want to make absolutely certain they are safe. Does anyone have any suggestions of a suitable set up I could buy? Thanks for any replies in advance x

Hope someone can advise you on this as it would worry me to death :...
We own a sited caravan and have secure lidded outdoor runs there but the piggies have pens indoors for overnight and if it goes cool outside. They're never left unattended either as there are swans and ducks wandering around rolleyes
The little devils have already overtaken our home and we have had to knock the spare bedroom out of the caravan to make room for them there :(|)

I have a big indoor cage that I could keep them in the awning overnight as I am guessing foxes would mostly come out at night? I wouldn't want to keep them in the awning in the day though as it would get too hot (maybe not in a British summer though - lol!) so would need a secure run to keep them in outside in the day.

Is there anything particular that makes runs fox proof or if they have locks is that enough?

Please Note: It is recommended not to leave your pet in the run without protection from the sun! If there are foxes in your region: the run is not strong enough to protect your pet from larger animals such as foxes. The bar space of both models is 3.3 cm and smaller pets could get stuck between the bars which may lead to injuries. Don't leave your pets in the run unattended.

This what it says on the web page you posted. So would guess not.
