Found spider in guinea cage, should I be worried?

I was spot cleaning and found a freshly killed huntsman (I'm pretty sure) and it's shed. No idea what killed it, but my guinea pigs were happily walking over it.
I just want to know if they'll be fine, or if I should worry. I know huntsmans aren't venomous, so I think they'll be fine.

Just remove him. Guinea pigs do occasionally kill vermin and even eat a bug every now and then.
Native UK spiders are not a problem for piggies. It's a different story in Australia.

If the spider was freshly shed and its shed was with it then it was most likely killed either by falling into the cage while shedding or most likely by the guinea pigs moving around it.
When spiders first shed their exoskeletons they are completely soft and unable to even walk. I believe they would also be unable to bite due to being unable to move and the mouthparts still being soft.

As you say, huntsmans aren't venomous so would not have harmed your piggies.
