Spent a couple of days looking around and Fi of Cavy Rescue & Retreat has been avidly searching for me too but I had a lady call today who had seen my wanted ad and so, on Sunday my piggies will have a lovely big home to play, sleep and eat in!

Its a 5'2'' outside hutch (which will be inside) with a 3ft-ish run. I'm going to make a ramp so we can have the door open for them and they can come and go as they please! The hutch is lined with lino and it comes with covers and all sorts (anything I don't use and in good condition will go to Fi's rescue centre).

The boys are going to be soooo excited when they see it! I haven't told them about it yet because I don't want to them to be over-excited and not sleep (that and they're guinea pigs and won't understand what I'm saying anyway!)

Woo hoo!

So my question, I have to put something under the run (as it will be inside on my wooden living room floor) so what should I line the bottom of the run and hutch with?

I've seen lots of people suggesting fleece - do I get this from eBay? Are there other alternatives? What's the best?

Thanks in advance of your help!

Hey,

I got my Fleeco from Pro-Fleece, is a cheaper alternative to Vetbed. Try 'Googling' Pupps Profleece.

I Paid £28.79 for a 60x40in. Piece which was more than enough for my cage! Very quick delivery too.

Hope this helps!

Oh hows the fostering going? x

Well, getting my boys sorted first and then on to the fostering! We're picking up the hutch on Sunday so will go from there! Very exciting! :(|)

Gave the boys a little kitten-size ball last night and they've been pushing it round their cage a lot - will be exciting for them to be on a harder floor where ir rolls faster - I'm sooooo excited for them!
(Wouldn't think I was 27 would you?!?! ROFL :)) )

I'm just the same! :))
If you need any correx to line the run with (prior to putting down the fleece) i know where you can get it quite cheap in Bristol.
Where in Bristol do you live? x

Oooh, yeah - that would be really useful. I live in St George.

If you would be kind enough to PM me the details, I'd be really grateful. Thank you Sarah!
