I have used their £10 bed, which they don't use (!). Now they lean in and nibble on the hay instead of the rack dropping it everywhere! (I have just noticed on EVERY pic I take, Hoggle & Ludo pose in the same order!)

Ingenius!

We have one of those beds and it's the least fav so I understand. But I'd have never thought of such a good idea!

It was just sitting there useless under their cage and I was sick of the mess the rack was making, plus I may have allergies towards it so I was hoping to keep it to one section giving that I can't compromise on it! H&L would hate me forever! hehe

I am quite pleased with it because I have put it in boxes before and they just eat them! grrrr

At least there is a little ledge to stop any mess plus they look cute leaning in! :<>

I use littertrays, Forgot to say... It solves my problem Fred jumps in it and eats... So no mess :)!

thanks for the tip.... I was actually going to buy one of these beds at the weekend but given that 2 people in this thread so far have voiced opinions that their piggies don't really use it I may think twice.

I had one of those too which my little squidgys never used, but I bought two 'half' sized ones (see pic) which they LOVE (although sadly I only have one piggy now). :( But this, is an absolutely FANTASTIC idea for their big run - as I always find they get their hay everywhere (literally, all across the floor...I even wake up with it my bed! haha). Thanks for a great tip, I will be trying it out tonight!

x

PS - Your pigs are sooooooo beautiful, I love their photos, they're so pretty x)

Ludo uses it now it now he isn't supposed to! :(|)

I agree though, it isn't worth £10.

Thank you Domwe, your pic is soooo cute, sorry to hear about losing your pig. :(
