Hi all,

Welcome Home.

Can I first start off by saying Thanks to Highway Man, who throughout this has been invaluable and the biggest thanks to Falken who has fixed the forum at a time when we thought it was gone forever.
The hack has been removed and we have been securely updated. I will update everyone more on what went on etc as I find out more details.
I also want to thank Debbie and Ellie for their help, without Ellie this forum would not exist and by trusting us with the access needed, we have ensured its continued growth.

A few things may not be working fully and I will start a thread for you to report them, please be patient as Falken has done far more work and gave help above and beyond what anyone could have imagined. Do not pm Falken with any issues please just type them on the thread and admin will pass them on.

It has been a very stressful few days for the forum and a certain points looked incredibly bleak, but sometimes something good happens and restores your faith in human kindness.

The Highway Man and Falken - I bow down to your computer knowledge and expertise, it's all way beyond me!
 
It was nothing, I just put the forum in touch with my technical guru Falken who done the business and fixed the forum. ;)
 
What have you done with the thanks button?
 
If it was a plugin rather than part of the forum core it's disabled for the time being.

I have a copy of them locally which I'm running through a scanner, certain exploits hide in images.

If you try and access the stories and photos forum, I get this message

[h=1]Forbidden[/h]You don't have permission to access /showthread.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, all of you who worked so hard to get this forum back up and running! I missed it so much to prevent myself doing anything silly I had to hire a car and go to yorkshire for the weekend. Please don't let the problem happen again it cost me £100 lol

You're getting that error because the address of that forum contains brackets (xxxxxx), for security reasons things that seem like database commands are being blocked for the time being, anything with [] or () or the capital AND or SELECT or * etc will be blocked.



The forum is still there :)

THANKYOU! RESPECT to the pc gurus &guinea slaves! Great to have the forum back! Big happy smiley face!. . . In lieu of smileys being missing! Be great when everything's completely normal again. Had withdrawal symptoms!
