There will be a forum meeting for anyone who would like to come and talk piggy with us on Sat 5th June at lunchtime - ie 12.30 or so.

We have done a few of these in the past, we sit and chat, look at pictures on my little laptop from memory sticks, discuss piggy problems we have and generally relax and enjoy ourselves.

These meetings go very well simply because we are all caring people at heart, chosen by our piggys to be slaves for this reason, and we have a common passion - piggys!

So please don't feel intimidated at all by us, if you happen to be near enough to Hull and can spare a couple of hours for a nice chat then please come along!

We will be meeting at the Zachariah Pearson pub on Beverley Road, which has a car park behind it. I am hoping that piggyme234 who is really good at techy stuff will put up a google link!

If you are coming from town it is on the right just after you go under the railway bridge. You have to turn down the street before the pub to get to the car park, if you miss it you can turn round in the petrol station.

If you are coming from Beverley it is after the big junction with Cottingham Rd where Jacksons/Sainsburys is on your left. Continue down Beverley Rd and it is on your left just after the petrol station which is on your right. Turn down the first Rd on the left to get to the carpark.

From Beverley you can get the 121 or x46 buses. From town you can get the 121, 105, x46, 13, 14, 20 I think but you will have to check. Ask for Queens Rd it's close enough.
 
Sorry - not the 13 bus. The 14, 20, 28, 121, x46 and 246 go up Beverley Road right past it! Lots of buses!
 
Duh I should have remembered the 246 Hornsea bus.

Where does the 13 go then?
 
The 13 goes Spring Bank and Chanterlands *** I think. But I'm not sure.

Anyway, if anyone wants more comprehensive directions etc etc please PM myself or piggyme234.

Just bumping this thread up as the meet will be this Saturday. Sorry you can't make it Steve, there will be more meets I should think!

And a reminder to bring a memory stick with pictures - my laptop will be there!
 
I would have loved to come, but unfortunately with it just being over a 2hr train journey, i wouldn't be there long before i leave for work! Trust me to noctice this now that i've agreed to work my last weekend in derby lol.

I hope people turn up and have some fun though.
 
There was the usual crew - piggyme234, lindsay7, becks and her OH and myself. We looked at really good new pictures from piggyme, had lunch and then went back to mine to check on Chamomile. (Lindsay looked after her when she was a baby for a while and Rachel helped me bring her home, nursing her in her lap all the way back!) So it was great fun.

I have to say they were all amazed at the sheer bulk of my 1.6 kg girl called Carmilla - the PEW in that thread. She isn't particularly fat, she is simply a BIG piggie! Given the size of Chamomile's back feet she will be a big girl too one day.

I do hope that when we do this again others will be able to join us, it really is fun talking piggie with other people. I should imagine the next one will be summer hols type time.
