Following on from my previous thread about Forrest not wanting the use the ramps, I decided the only option was to just use the bottom two sections and put a tunnel between the trays... well he was exploring before i’d 111510
111511even finished fixing things up! He seems much happier with this set up! It’s not the space I had in mind for him but he seems to like it 😊 I decided to keep the top bit on as a storage area plus it offers a bit of shelter for him over that side.

He was paired with another boar originally but the other one bullied him and I had to separate, unfortunately the other passed away a few months ago. I am considering getting Forrest neutered and getting a female but at the moment it’s just not possible due to my personal circumstances, which is why I’m doing my best to provide him with an interesting home.

Ah okay understandable. You could try going to a rescue that does boar dating? Some boars just absolutely can’t get on whereas some positively adore each other, it’s just a case of the personalities lining up. I imagine neutering is expensive but I’m not 100% sure, so perhaps boar dating would be more viable option for you? Just a thought :)
