Forage

I have been looking into adding forage to my guinea pigs diet. If so, how often should I feed it, and do you have any forage recommendation?

My boys get some forage daily (I don’t give them pellets every day and instead they get the forage). Some forage items can be fed more often than others - eg dandelion is higher calcium so not suitable for daily.

Mine get a handful of dandelion salad or herb garden a couple of times a week as dandelion is high in calcium

My boys get it a few times a week, you may find you need to experiment to find out what they like! My boys like, dried mint, nettle and green oats, we have tried others but they were not fans!

My girls get forage every day. They don't get much. I get my forage from here Products – Piggie Parcels it's owned by a forum member and it's lovely stuff.
