image.webp Well I purchased 2 forage baskets from pets at home. These were placed into the boys cages on 31st October. Today this is what they look like. The one on the left (well what's left of it) was Peanut and Buddy's and the one on the right was Mango and Mojitos. Mojito has loved nibbling the bark off of the little sticks, also he enjoyed pulling items out the basket and carrying them about the cage. Mango had a wee sniff but wasn't too interested. Peanut enjoyed eating the basket and Buddy had a chew too but they never bothered with the contents.

The basket also contained little white sticks they were really quite thin so I removed them. Also all twine was removed before giving the boys the baskets. Thanks for reading.

Don't know how interested mine would be as still not chewed up their carrot houses etc. Maybe they'd like them later in the year when they've run out of twigs and leaves!
Won't be long now as I stood in the woods this morning watching the leaves cascade down to the ground! Wished I'd had my phone as the photo would have been magical!

My lot completely destroy these Forage Baskets in about 3 days. They absolutely love them! I get them as a treat. The next one will probably be a Christmas present.

Wow 3 days! Suppose these ones lasted quite well then.

My did the same to these !,but I don't think I buy these again because I don't think they like them that good

And I've only 2 in each cage. Lol.
I have all five together in a hutch 2 boys and 3 girls. They all live as one happy family only cos the boys are so laid back they are horizontal and Velvet THE BOSS takes no crap from anybody! I know this is very unusual and I am lucky that they boys don't fight. They were very well bonded brothers before neutering and being put in with the girls. The hutch is being replaced in the spring with a shiny new one. I do have a contingency plan if the boys ever do fall out.
