I did my 1st day volunteering for Cavy Corner - at Edlington Gala. If any forum members know of people who are thinking of getting guinea pigs, I would recommend they come to a gala - or a Cavy Corner Fun day.

Sue and Winston are very organised and bring some "experienced" guinea pigs to the gala for the public to meet (under supervision of a volunteer).

The next gala is at Tickhill on 4th July ( which , unfortunately clashes with the picnic meet) . More details about Cavy Corner can be found here

Well done @PiiggyOwner. The Cavy Corner volunteers are like a large family. I can't wait to see the new caviary. We have five foster pigs here at Guinea Pig Magazine HQ waiting to go back to the new caviary. Starting to get very attached to them though.

Mind you, why did Cavy Corner choose red as their colour? All the volunteers wear red T-shirts. Being a Trekkie, I got very concerned when Sue asked me to put on a red shirt.
