We were very lucky the last week to come across a large pod of dolphins out if Falmouth, just remembered to post and Hope it works!

How lovely! Do they ever swim with the boat?

We always stop because they can get injured by the propellers on boats, but yes they love to swim alongside (bow ride) the boat. They are incredibly inquisitive and circle the boat for ages, sometimes it takes quite a while to get back to shore, they just stay around for ages.
we have seen loads of dolphins this year but no basking sharks or minke whales
