Our new piggies spend all day together - sleeping, eating, running about (when no one's watching). But the smaller, younger pig - Gus, spends all his time following the older pig - Darwin around and around wherever he goes!

His nose seems glued to Darwin's bottom and he's always sniffing him and trying to put his head under his tummy.

They don't seem to fall out about it, and are both eating and drinking ok.

What's going on?

my little sparkle does this with our older pig rikku i was told by the vet it could be that they are feeling motherly fartherly and its not uncommon for older pigs to adopt younger pigs as there own its like the would do natuarallyin the wild the entire herd would look after the best intrests of the young in there herd as there the next generation

That makes a lot of sense - Darwin is nearly twice his age and size, and protected Gus today when we tried to move him without his consent!
