On some websites it says that you can feed guinea pigs some types of blossoms, but not sure if this is true? Don't want to make my piggies ill by feeding them things they can't eat :{

They can certainly eat all parts of dandelion including flowers, unsprayed roses (blossom and leaves) and marigold. On the whole, I found that my piggies would always go for the leaves rather than the flowers, though.

Thanks :) I was wondering about dandelions, it would be a nuisance to have to make sure there were none where the run was every time I put them out.

I have creeping buttercup but the boys don't seem to eat it which is a relief will have a good attack on it later! Apparently when it is dried/dead the toxin dissipates so it is safe in 'fodder' according to the website i just looked at.

If there is just a little buttercup then it won't kill them (according to my GP book and my guinea pigs!) but best avoid them having too much of it.
