Floor time

Hi I tried my girls with floor time for the second time today. I even put the top of the cage down on the floor so they didn’t feel like they where
In a big open space but they didn’t seem interested at all

What was the space like?
Lots of piggies don't love floor time, and you need to make sure the space is full of lots of interesting things for them to explore.
What things did you put out for them to do?

Did you have lots of hides for them to move between? I wouldn’t push it to be honest. I would instead try and get them a bigger cage (slightly bigger than recommended minimum). Some piggies just don’t like floor time. They prefer to ‘party’ in their cage.

I think if I were you, I’d leave them in their cage. Hopefully I’d you try again in a short while, they may be okay with it. Or set up a play pen they have permanent access to. They can then make the decision themselves.
