Hello,
We recently moved house and below is our kitchen. The guinea pigs have had floor-time in part of the kitchen before but never most of it like I have let them today. I often work from home so I was wondering about leaving them in this set up some times when I am home but not necessarily in the same room. I have always followed the guidance of supervising them during floor-time. Thoughts?

I leave my piggies unsupervised indoors but there is a fence around the area they are in so that they can't get to any electric cables etc.
I would be worried they may chew your furniture and be aware that they can climb stairs.

Thanks for your reply. I could always block off the stairs. They aren't the bravest of piggies obviously I don't want anything to happen to them. There aren't any wires in the area they are in. I am not too bothered about my furniture and they don't tend to chew.

I also leave mine alone during floor time. We can be hours in the garden and they're happy mooching around as their space doesn’t have any cables or anything they can get into trouble with!
