Chukkin
Junior Guinea Pig
Hi all,
I am struggling with floor-time as my piggies just sit in the cozy and refuse to move until I put them back in the cage. My question is this: their cage (C&C) is on the floor at one side of the living room, would it be a good idea to open one side of the cage and allow them to roam around the living room once I have piggy-proofed it? That way they have their own base to explore from and can run back "home" if they want to, rather than me getting them into a cozy and carrying it to the spare room where we currently have floor-time. If this turns out to be a good idea, once they have gotten used to me and trust me, I might go back to the spare room idea.
Ideas?
