i own two dogs that use the garden to do pees and poos in. i want to let my pigs on the grass for half an hour a day once the weather gets better. if i were to hose down an area of grass, corner it off so that the dogs cant toilet there and then put the pigs there when its dry would it be ok?

I think the recommendation to be on the safe side is that you need to cut the grass 3- 4 times to ensure it is 'clean'.
So maybe fence off the area you want to use for the piggles, and let the grass grow.
Water and cut regularly, and it should be fine for them to graze in a few weeks.
