Hey,
I Switched to fleece the other day.I take it and throw the poops and hay off of it once a day. They love it.Apatche lays on it all the time.I put puppy pads then the fleece and the puppy pads soak up everything and the fleece stays dry.I love it to.It seems to being doing good.I washed the boys to get the oil and dust from the sedar off of them. Now i can love on them and play with them.I am soooo HAPPY that i can cuddle them now.And I don't cough and all from the sedar.

its lovely isnt it i use paper vetbed and fleece and they got igloo but i think they sleep under the igloo and not in it half the time haha

Fleece is great for those with allergies to more traditional beddings. I am pleased it's working out so well for you and your piggies. :)

Mwhahahaoooo! I'v been reading all about fleece today and it sounds fab - and looks it too so I'v decided to steel my mums sofa throw (found behind the sofa so will probably not be missed !?) to use it for two of my girlie luckily it looks like it will fit snugly in there Nero 4 once folded over ! Its 100% polyester i cant believe its been there all this time without me realising!

when I last went to my vet they said that fleece and vet bed could course internal problems as people used it for hamsters a while back I think the vet is wrong !?........

vet bed and fleece isnt bad for piggies as long as its safe from harmful dyes etc. People MUST be careful on buying fleece and not buying cheap stuff because it can be harmful to piggies. Well sourced fleece is a must and tehre are many of us on here who can supply you with it or point you in the right direction!

my piggies would be lost without their profleece and fleece/ fleece bedding.

he kept going on about how it isn't 'natural ' but piggies have been domesticated for many years ? people may argue that a cat shouldn't pee in a box or eat from a colourful bowl :))

I've been using fleece for about a weeks now. Isn't just great! At first I grabbed a fleece blanket but last night I picked up 4 meters of it for cheap. Now I have a lot! I'm still keeping an eye out for a cheap cozy but my piggies are happy with just the fleece right now.

I use cheap fleece for the playpen and occasionally I have used in cages when I haven't enough vetbed etc.. or it hasn't dried in time. I do use pale neuteral biege colours though as think the dye will not be as bad. The best fleeces I have are cat ones from Homebargins. I washed them with a colourcatcher a few times to begin with to see if any dye came out and it didn't seem to!
