what does everyone use to line their fleece with, who has used zorb and what did you think of it, and has anyone used incontinent pads and what did you think of them. can you state the good and bad points please, i am going to make some fleeces and i would like to pick from your wealth of knowledge.

any suggestions please on what you have found that works good.

Do you mean put under the fleece? We use plain old towels they tend to work well

I have used uhaul pads and they work well. I ordered some Zorb to try, it is coming today I think so we’ll see how that works

I use old towels and also my daughter's old washable nappies! (A rectangular cotton layer "prefold" design - the shaped kind would be weird in a guinea pig hutch!) Pros - absorbent of piggie wees and then they go in the wash with the fleece. Cons - because they absorb a lot of moisture they also take quite a while to dry after washing.

The Vetfleece brand Inconti-pet washable puppy mats are brilliant under fleece, very thin but very absorbant and wash very well :)

I line the cage with puppy pads, then a towel or two and then fleece on top. Works wonderfully!

thank you everyone for your great advice, lots of good suggestions to try out.
