hello got my fleece liner today, just washed it, can i tumble dry the fleece.

If it is a fitted liner then I wouldn’t. Fleece can shrink a little on tumbling and it might not fit as it should. Won’t take long to dry though in front of a radiator.

Did it come with instructions?
I tend not to tumble mine, but I do find if I hang them over an airer (or door if I am short on space!) then they dry pretty quickly.

Mine were handmade, and made to be a just a tad bigger than the cage so I do tumble dry them. Where did you get them?

i got this one made off ebay, it looks lovely. i am going to make my own this week so i have some spare. they are not cheap to buy so i thought i would have a go on making my own . thank you for your advice.

I dry mine over the stairs banister rails with a couple of clothes pegs on the sides to stop them slipping off. Some shrink, some don't- the one I have that shrunk a fair bit just from a 60 degree wash is ok with washable puppy mats underneath and a hay tray in one corner and a wooden hidey house in the diagonal corner to hold it down and stop piggies going underneath! If you are making your own maybe hot wash and tumble dry the fleece first so it shrinks before you measure it :)

that’s a good idea, i will need to wash it a couple of times before i could use it, so i will wash it before i cut the fleece. :tu:

When I got mine, there were instructions saying not to tumble dry. So I spin it after the wash and they usually dry pretty quickly.
