Hi
This might be a cheeky question i saw the fleece tutorial video which was great but where is the best place to buy quite cheep fleece and where do you get the the water proof material that you sow into the fleece I'm not to sure what it is called as i would like to make my own piggie lap pads.
Many Thanks

Primark, Wilkinsons, The Range, B & M all do quite cheap fleeces, even cheaper if you manage to catch a sale! I got a couple of small blankets in £ Stretcher for £2 each, just enough for 2 lap pads, used a quilted mattress cover double thickness for the inner as this was much cheaper than wadding by the metre. Tied to use treble thickness for the inner but machine couldn't cope with stitching it!

Hmmm. I got mine from the local market. I simply asked them if it was machine-washable at 40 degrees, and explained that it would be washed each week. So far so good, it's still water-proof, but unfortunately I couldn't tell you what it is called or where to get it from.

A Waterproof Fabric Guide this site gives some information on different types of fabric you can buy for use in washable garments, in this case toddler clothes. It may be of some use with your search :)

Thank you all for your replies I have got some from primark a while ago but I didn't know the people that make these for a living to sell do they get them from the shop like primark etc or do they buy in bulk from a special place. I will have a look at the mattress protecters for the waterproof inside.many thanks
