fleece wont wick

hello. i am here today with a problem wicking my fleece. it either doesnt wick at all, or it just sorta wicks. and that means i cant put it in the cage. sometimes i have to wash then like 5 times to get them to wick! they used to wick, but now they are a pain. ive tried washing warm, cold, vinegar, no vinegar, even different brands of soap. i am wondering how you guys get your fleece to wick? i cant wash each fleece 5 times every few days. thats just a load of money$$.

Have you used the fleece before or is it new? Did the wash include conditioner? I’ve only ever struggled to get a new fleece to wick once. In the end I gave up as it just wasn’t working.

Maybe you could put in other clothes so it’s not a ‘wasted’ wash?

thats not a bad idea. its not a new fleece. but i got it to wick, so thats good. thanks tho

What soap are you using? I use All non-scented and no dye.
