I currently use the wood chips, but am considering switching to fleece.
What are some of the pros and cons of each bedding?
Thank you

a lot of people favour fleece and it looks awesome, but i personally could ot get on with it, I steer clear of wood shavings a bit too as I have heard they cause respiratory problems so I actually use newspaper covered in a carpet of cheaper hay (large bags of cheaper farm hay available from independent stores, generally one bag for £6 lasts me up to a month) it also means the pigs don't go without and is easy to clean up at the end

If you decide to go with fleece, wait for Joann's Black Friday sales. They usually sell fleece for $2.99/yard.
Blizzard and anti-pill work well for cages.

Make sure to wash and dry at least three times without fabric softener and dryer sheet to prep the fleece.

Uhaul furniture pads also make great absorbent layer under fleece.

I started out with fleece, which the pigs seemed pretty comfy on, but i had to stop because my parents complained about the hay remnants clogging up the washing machine. So i switched to dust free wood chips, and we haven't had any respiratory problems (knock on wood). The pigs seem content with the wood, but you have to watch out for the wet spots because it can get smelly and probably uncomfortable for them.

I use a recycled card bedding called Finacard/walmsley premier bed here in the UK.
It costs me about £6. I don't know if you have anything similar in the US but me and the pigs love it with lots of hay on top and puppy pads abf newspaper underneath. It normally lasts me about 5 days-7 (at a push) with 3 pigs between cleanouts..

I went for dust free shavings to fleece to hay and paper and back to shavings. I think it's the right one for me but not for everyone. Thing is with the shavings I have to spend five minutes placing my palm flat to check for no harder bits of wood that's the only draw back. X

I use fleece but wood shavings(dust extracted) and hay for litter trays.Works well for me

I have 3 pigs and they are still babies and pee and poop ALOT. I couldn't be doing fleece washing everyday and I imagine if i left it longer for that the hutch would stink. I get on well with two layers of newspaper and lots of wood shavings- I really layer it up. That way I can just remove what is dirty when I go and see them (2/3 times daily) and a "big clean" is left to weekly.

If I forget to poop scoop last thing I go back and the hutch stinks- so I really don't think fleece would work for me.
