Hello, Scully and Rascal love their fleeces, they are Ewan's old baby blankets, for my new babies! I put newspaper under and the fleece on top and lots of toys on botton level, but Rascal likes to move all the fleece around and hide under it! Is it ok for them to be on the newspaper? When I kept pet rats it was a bug no no cos of the ink? Dows anyone have a tip to hold the fleeces in place?

Hi, I'm not a big fleece user, but I know others use clothes pegs or bull dog clips, obviously you can get various sizes. I use a small bull dog clip to keep a snuggle sack sitting upright so my biggest girl can get inside.

If your piggies are burrowing, it's probably worth putting something inside they can burrow into, it's a natural thing for them to do.

I leave the fleece over the sides of the cage so that they cant get under it, have a look in the cage gallery section to see how others do it. -c

I use hook n loop tape around the edges of the coroplast with disposable under pads underneath the fleece. I sew the loop tape to the fleece and put strips of hook tape around the coroplast. Toss in extra fleece for play. Works great.

Thanks for the ideas, will give them a try. Is it safe to use absorbant pads under fleece, thought they might chew it? Ive got quite a few as my little human has just stopped needing them.

If your newspaper is soy based ink, it is okay if they chew it and eat a little bit. I use newspaper shreds. Under my fleece I use towels.
