How do you all have lovely perfect fitted fleece in your c&c cages?

None of my fleeces are big enough!?

Anyone live near Fareham who can make this daaaaaam thing for me? Haha
 
I buy my fleeces from ebay - if you buy per metre it's usually sent in one continuous length. I have to do this as none of my standard fleece blankets fit my cages.

Some of my fleeces are sewn to the bed pads underneath so it looks just like a blanket and is dead easy to change/wash etc - some people make their own cage liners for their C&C's - basically just a cotton topped mattress protector with fleece sewn to it ;) - someone did make a post walking through how to make one - ill see if i can dig out the link for you - they are dead simple to make :)

How big is the cage in grids?
I use £3 fleeces from Primark and find they are a little bit roomy for my 4X2, but I just tuck the excess under the towels I use underneath.

I bought twin size fleece blankets and fold them in half. I put towels down then I put the folded blankets over the towels. I also, like Hemmy, just tuck the extra bit under the towel. Super easy once you get the hang of it. You can buy cage liners if you don't want to make one yourself. There is lots of stores online with people who make homemade once. The only reason I didn't buy any is I am always changing things around in my cage. Don't give up yet!;)
 
It's the primark ones I have, and my c&c is 4x2 so why can't I get mine to fit!? How many are you using? I guess if I buy 2 the same colour that'll be ok...

What good does the mattress topper do then? Save the towels a bit?

Ive got mattress toppers sewn to my fleeces for my boar pairing and my single boys - they just work in the same way towels or bed pads would - they absorb the water ;)
 
Ok I'm on it thank you! So that plus a fleece is enough to absorb all that wee?!?
