Fleece Sack Things

how do I use them? I have one very nervous piggy and I got two fleece pocket things for both boys to get them used to being handled/lap time/floor time. I just don't know how to use them. I put them in the cage to start and the woodshavings stuck all over them. ushered piggys into them and put them on my lap. nervous Comi kept trying to burrow the opposite way. Dusty just walked out and walked right off my lap and on to the floor. How do I do this?

Once they are on your lap it will take time for them to be less scared. Only just managed it with Vimto after10 months and 2 mins a lap time.

I would suggest you use the cosies to pick them up as you are doing, then once on your lap leave them in there and just talk slowly and softly to them for 5 mins and pop them back home. In a few weeks start carefully tipping them out the cosy on you lap for 2 mins then build up to 5 mins depending on how they are acting then popping them back home. It just takes time to get them used to you.

Cosies and wood shavings are a pain, we bed on wood shavings (I know everyone doesn't agree with them...) So only put our cosies in for the girls on their run days in their run. But we always use them to pick up certain piggies and picking up is often what stresses pigs out the most.
