Hi folks, how do you spot clean fleece? I am currently using a little dustpan and brush but it is actually faster to pick it all up by hand as it all sticks to the fleece and I end up lifting the fleece up rather than just the poos!

I have put velcro on the corners of the correx base and sewn it onto the fleeces to hold in place which is helping a bit but wondering if there is a better solution?

Thanks :)

I had this same problem so swapped to fleece liners. The absorbant layer is built into them and when you brush it, it doesn't bunch up the material. :) I found these to be much better.

There are also handheld hovers you can get, but I also find hand picking is much easier. I prefer just fleece blankets because they don't require sewing. If you fold over the fleece to cover the wall of the correx could you put some pegs there? :)

hadn't thought of pegging it! Will try that!
@ayemee where do you get liners from/how do I make them? other than the built in absorbancy how do they vary?

They don't differ in the way they work, in terms of fleece and an absorbant layer. However they're easier to sweep and roll up and wash in my opinion. You can buy them online or make them by sewing an absorbant layer in between two fleece layers. :)

Hi,
I bought a big pack of disposable gloves and a big pack of nappy bags.
Pop my gloves on armed with my nappy bag and its done in a flash....:lol!:.

I have been making fleece liners all week.....PHEW I have put bath mats in some, towels in others and incontinence pads in some too.....all are working great, it is so so much easier than my old way. It took me half an hour this morning to sweep out 5 x 3 tier hutches and change the 'piddle' pads:nod: I have just had my first wash, put them in a horse wash bag, and they are now sweet smelling and clean again!
