Ok so my piggies have a snugglesafe 24 hours a day at the minute, a hutch snuggle, hutch hugger, domes stuffed with hay, lots of hay, cardboard between the hutch hugger and hutch snuggle and a carpet tile that we pin to the wire mesh over night. However, the carpet tile leave a small gap where the water bottle is and ideally I'd like the entire front covered up. They do have a see through cover pulled down too. anyway, my hubby has put a couple of hooks on to the hutch and my plan is to drape a piece of fleece over the front of the hutch just to add extra insulation. Will my piggies be OK with this as I want them to be able to breath ok?

You do need to let air flow for circulation so condensation doesn't accumilate.

Air gap, yes.
Why not put a piece of insulation board across the front of the hutch, more effective than a fleece? The fleece is better in with the pigs.
