So I'm sorry it seems that it's like a question that is always asked but I didn't really see mine in this section. This week there was a big heatwave in France (it was 38°C where I live) and even if I have a AC, the temperature in the piggies' romm is 24/25°C all day.
I use fleece linners that come from Kavee Cage, they are big and softy but also made with a seemingly hot material. I used to take it off during heatwave but one of my vet (who isn't a piggy specialist tho) said that blanket that aren't thick enough can damage piggies feet, so now I'm in a bit of a wonder, do I really have to take off the big thick hot blanket when it's hot, and does it really damage piggies feet if they aren't on something that is soft and squishy ?
Heres are the Kavee's fleeces, they're really like wooly and polar

If the room is cool enough and piggies are ignoring any frozen water bottles or covered ice packs you May have in their cage, then they are not feeling hot so the fleece is not likely to be making them feel any discomfort to the temperature.
Piggies feet can be damaged by being on wet, unclean bedding but a thinner blanket won’t hurt their feet.
Remember also, that fleece isn’t the only type of bedding, so to say they need soft, thick blankets otherwise they will be hurt isn’t the case - for example, my piggies are bedded quite happily on megazorb and hay
