I was just wondering if anyone knew anyone who makes CUSTOM cage liners for a reasonable price, as I do live in Australia so it is really difficult to buy from international sellers.

My dad will be making me a custom, wooden cage for my girls; with glass walls so I can see them; for Christmas this year; he hasn't told me the measurements yet so I can't purchase or order anything until closer to the time, but I wanted to find someone I can trust now so I have to worry about doing even more research closer to christmas.

I'm looking for someone who will consider making me a few liners to fit the cage; and maybe a few beds and tunnels if I have the money; if I give them the exact measurements, but alot of the sellers I have seen only make liners to fit a c&c cage. I'd prefer if you recommend people in Australia but the quality is more important, I just really don't want to pay $100 AUD for 1 liner when the seller has it as $40 in USD.

I was considering asking budget bunny or ValeriesZoo, but I'm not 100% sure if they would consider altering the size of the liners she makes to suit mine. Do I have any other options?

Ziggies piggies do custom but shipping could be really high. She is UK.
Do you think if I give her the measurements she will make a few for me? If so I may consider going with her but I would prefer maybe a little cheaper..

She made me a couple of custom liners for my liberta cage.Worth an ask.She responds really quickly too.

Is there anything on Amazon, they deliver world wide, I think.

It's not that I can't find someone who delievers world wide, it's just the prices are kind of ridiculous once I convert it to AUD. I really need to find at least someone I trust though who has reasonable prices and good quality, who will consider making a custom sized liner before christmas, because I can't move in the piggies without having the liners ready.

yes ziggy makes custom liners, ive found them to be one of the best value, and quality in the uk.she has some outlets abroad, but you need to ask ziggy about this.:)

Won't it be easier if you find a seamstress in your area and provide them the fabrics needed for the liner?
Cage liners are quite heavy. I'd imagine it will be very expensive to deliver to Australia.

The fact that there isn't any rescues where I live, I really don't think there will be anyone here that can make the liners. I am probably just gonna end up making it myself if it seems too expensive for someone else to make it, it's just we don't have Zorb or anything like that here.

Fellow Aussie here! I ended up making my own liners as I live in rural NSW, and all the piggie people based in Australia are ridiculously expensive! I just buy fleece from Lincraft (they have a much better selection than Spotlight) and some towels from Kmart and sew them together. Doesn't have to be anything fancy, and my boys don't mind that the stitching isn't perfectly straight!

have you heard of anything we could use other than towels? I made smaller liners using towels and baby blankets as the fleece for practice and also so I could put them in their current cage, which worked fine but it was kind of difficult to get the size I wanted. It would be so much easier if the towels were totally flat aswell, not bulky in some areas. That's why I want to find some sort of absorbent material so it's easier to cut and make. And it's also another reason why I thought I'd prefer to get someone from the UK to make me some for a reasonable price because they have Zorb, and a few other things they can use which makes the liners work better. I did order a mattress protecter on EBay for a really good price and I might see if I can make the liners myself using them. I have no idea how it's gonna turn out though.

Nope. I've only heard of towels and mattress protectors that are available here, but never tried the mattress protectors. I found the Kmart bath sheets are the perfect size for my 4x2 C&C, so they're not bulky and easy to measure the fleece against. I just cut the ends off the towel so the thick edging isn't too much for my machine to sew through. 2 layers of fleece and a layer of towel is pretty tough going for it!

I live in Switzerland, and also make my own liners. I did initially buy some, but to be perfectly hones my home made ones fit better and cost MUCH less!
I got a friend to bring me some Zorb back from the US, but the company I used offered International shipping and it seemed pretty reasonable.

Or if you can't get Zorb, look online for toweling materiel by the meter.

If I was you, and you don't like the idea of towels in the middle, you could always order some Zorb, get hold of some fleece, take exact measurements and photos, and ask someone local to sew the liners for you.
The sewing itself really isn't difficult.
Maybe a card in the local supermarket asking if anyone local has a sewing machine and could do some sewing if you provided the materials?

I have paid my friend who sews to do my liners, I bought all of the materials... so much cheaper

I really wouldn't advise sewing mattress protectors into your liners as most sorts shrink gradually over several washes, even if you wash them really hot the first couple of times. I have tried a few different mattress protectors and only one brand hasn't shrunk yet. A lot of people just lay the fleece on top, and don't see the liners together, you know. That can also make loading the washing machine easier as well.
