Hi,

Just a quick question. My girls are now on fleece (which I find is much nicer than sawdust!)
I currently have a couple of layers of newspaper, then towels and finally the fleece.
I have noticed that most of you use a mattress protector as a liner so I went shopping for one yesterday, however I could not find one that was 100% cotton?
They were all either microfibre or polycotton? I was just wondering where you get the 100% cotton ones from.

Thanks in advance

I think I got mine from Tesco's or Morrisons, they come shaped like a fitted sheet so you need to cut off the "skirt" bit & then either cut it a little bigger than the base of your cage & stitch it around to stop it fraying, or fold the edges under.

I now also use Drynites bed protectors which are disposable. I put in newspaper first, then some old towels (neither of these are necessary if you use the Drynites but I like the "comfy" feeling they give the piggies lol) then the Drynites (or any other disposable bed protectors, including puppy pads) then the mattress protector, then lastly, on top of everything, my fleece cage liner. :)
