fleece issue

couldn't find this anywhere else but has anyone has a problem with fleece in that the pee/liquid just sits on the top? I've washed them in the machine 3 times and have followed all instructions...any other tips?

Are you using fabric conditioner? This stops it wicking.
I find that some fleece works better than others. The thin cheap ones aren't as good as the really thick fleece by the metre.

They have to have something to wick the moisture through onto, such as towels or newspaper The fleece should be touch dry unless you have the wrong type... Ixx

I got them from Ikea and they have towels and newspaper underneath them. I think I might go to a fabric shop and buy some better stuff tomorrow. Thanks!
