I am just curious how much time guinea pig owners spend cleaning their fleece everyday?
My morning cleanup takes about 15-25 minutes and then I just sweep stray poops throughout the day...it seems pretty easy going.

I feel guilty here, I spend 5 mins doing a quick poo pick and changing hay. Luckily we have 2 girls in a 3x7 c&c so it doesn't get messy, smaller the area more you tend to have to clean

I would say about the same as you cavylover. I don’t have time to do much in the morning except move the pile of poops made overnight by two of my piggies who are separated but like to stay next to each other in the same corner constantly! In the evening I pour the poops into a bin bag and rotate the fleece for those two so they’re not lying in the same patch til I change the fleece at the end of the week. It used to take longer as I tried to get rid of every little bit of hay but am now resigned to the fact that that’s never going to happen! The hay bags have helped a little but it all gets spread around in the washing bag anyway 🙄

I have a 6x6 (its a huge area) cage so my cIMG_9107.webpleanup involves changing their litterbox, changing hay in the rack, sweeping poops, sweeping stray hays, dumping the hay off the mat their house is on, refilling water/food...I'm actually surprised it only takes me 15 minutes lol

Yes 15 minutes for a quick daily clean up then we do a full cage clean and fleece wash every wednesday and saturday that takes a lot longer... but probably the full cage clean wouldnt take so long if I didnt keep getting distracted by cute piggies in their playpen! Today they are demolishing a haycube and playing in a big amazon delivery box full of hay, they are having so much fun I dont want to end playtime too soon, especially as it was so cold last saturday they just wanted to get back to their clean cage full of fleecy things!
Here is Jezzy's floofy heart shaped bottom in the haycube today while Theo and Piggle are trying to eat their way in :)
