Junior Guinea Pig
I am looking at making fleece liners for my existing cage. It is a 5 x 2 with an L shaped upper level of 3 grids. and i am already using fleece, just not liners.
I was wondering what absorbent materials people recommend for inside the liners? Do people have their favourites and how many layers of absorbent material should I use?
Because of my cage, I was also wondering, is a straight 5 x 2 liner too big, or should i break this up into a 3 x 2 and a 2 x 2 for easy washing. I have a pretty big front loader washing machine so not sure.
Also, how do people do kitchens? The upstairs is where all the food is kept, but so much poop and pee and hay spread all over! should I make a one grid kitchen, and if so how would one recommend doing this?
Thanks all. I really want to make the cage easier to deal with and nicer for the pigs
