Fleece Cage Liners, Help?!

In the process of making cage liners for my c and c cage but need help deciding on the centre of the liner, what works best? I purchased some washable incontinence pads ( the kind you put on beds ) for my lap pads and cage liner. I've not yet used the liner in the hutch only in an indoor cage for a few days but the lap pads work really well. I used fleece, pad then fleece. When they wee it wicks straight through.

I have a pile of interlining from curtain making left over. Any ideas if this would be OK as a layer or should I use it only for sides on a cuddle cup or similar?
