Query for all you fleece bedding users please!
How often do you change the bedding and what layers do you use? I have been putting down a double layer of newspaper, layer of towel doubled up then layer of fleece over the top. Today I went to clear the poos up and hay that was wee soaked, when I realised the towel and newspaper layers were wet through. I can't remember when I last changed them as have been a bit slack lately
Only been slack last few days cos I had to spend Friday in hospital after collapsing and knocking myself out! Was a bit rough and shaky the last few days but fine now, hence why I have been a naughty piggy mummy lately.
I was appalled when I saw the state of their bed and thinking long and hard it could have been Wednesday when they were last cleaned out. They've had a full clean, pet safe disinfectant and then a quadruple newspaper layer, 2 towel layers and then fleece on top. The absorbant layer is now double what it is. Should I be doing it like this everytime or was it only badly soaked cos I went far too long between cleans?
Appreciate advice on what layers too use and how often I should be changing the whole thing?
As it's a sunny day the girls are going off for a bath so they are as clean as their house|)
