Hello!

So I have a dilemma. I bought fleece liner for my pigs and I love them - so much cheaper than litter in the long run! However, I've run into a problem. When I try to wash the fleece liners - individually - they get so wet and heavy that they're literally breaking my washer and dryer! And I tried air drying them, but since they get so wet, it took forever.

I was wondering if anyone else had the same issue, and what they did to overcome it? (Short of buying a new washer and dryer, of course...)

Thanks!

Hi, are you washing one item at a time? It can cause a lot of imbalance in the machine to just wash one item and ideally you need to wash two or more. Can you cut the liner up smaller? Or add a hand towel so that there is more than one thing in the machine.

I take mine to the laundromat and wash them there. I line dry mine, but it takes around 8 hours in the toasty Australian sun.

I got 2 smaller liner's and wash them one at a time. Maybe that's the way to go, instead of a massive one.

What are they made of? Mine have zorb in the middle, I hang them over the stairs handrail and they dry overnight! I always give them an extra spin in the machine to dry them off a bit more, maybe you could try that?

i have to be sure to get the load weight correct... if i put too much in,.. it floods... not enough and it goes all unbalanced ! its trial and error... always give mine an extra spin at the end though if they still feel quite wet.. they dry outside or on the radiators, i don't put them in my drier... Good luck - oh mine are made with either towels in the middle or proper incontinence bed sheets in the middle..
