I saw in someone else's post it appeared as if they had fleece in the bottom of their guineas C&C cage instead of bedding. Would this be okay for guineas? How many layers of fleece should there be? How often does it need changed? How is it on odor control, and lastly does it dry fairly quickly as I don't want my poor piggies laying on wettness.

Thanks!

Hi, i used to use fleece in my C&C, they dont smell any worse, in fact they smell better because there is no hay smell. The wetness isnt too bad because if you put newspaper undeneath it soaks through. I used to change the fleeces over every 3 days. you can have as many layers as you want, i only had one layer and my piggies loved it, a lot more than hay or megazorb, it does seem to get very dirty though even in 3days and i stopped using it because the hay got stuck to it too much and it looked dirty all the times because the pigs would poop and wee in the same corner to form a big brown patch xx0
