This arrived yesterday and I put it together asap (which was fun with 2 kids under 3 trying to help) and the boys moved in last night- it's an R5A 120 off zooplus and I customised the ramps myself to make them a bit safer/piggy friendly.

Please excuse all the mess, we're still moving stuff around following our flood, so there's crap all over the kitchen!

They also have a new playpen...
which was like this to start with

Before my youngest started trying to give them his toys to play with, so I changed it to this to be safer...

Thank you for posting the pigture. What a wonderful home. They look settled in already.

:)p

Thanks, they seem really relaxed- well apart from the fact I've moved the house upstairs- this has caused a divide as Fitz loves it because he likes to watch me from the window, but Roy is sulking and keeps going and sitting downstairs in the corner where I put it originally in protest, I had to move it because it was a nightmare to get into it with the ramps etc, I've ordered a little fleece one I might put in that corner for Roy!

It's great :)) I bet they love it, are they plastic bag holder thingys on the ramps?

Yes from Ikea, I saw them on another site and thought they were a great idea, they're lined with a cheapo 50p doormat (again Ikea) cut up and fastened on with insulating tape- no tools or DIY skills required :))

A great new home! And the boys are really settling in now.

PS: You may think of getting some fleece to cover the plastic platforms for better grip. They boys will love that! Good on you for getting another snuggle thing for downstairs; I try to have as many different places as possible. Like humans, piggies have their preferences and like to get away from each other occasionally.

That cage looks fab ~ i'm very impressed!

Just thought that i ought to mention that i had used the Ikea bag holders as ramps in my old group set up and found one of my guineas Gloria with her head stuck through one of the round holes! I had to unfasten it and take it out of the cage to get her out!

Thanks, I might do the whole cage in fleece/vet bed once the insurance sort our washing machine out, at the moment I can't cope with getting anything else to the laundrette.

Veganlove, that's a bit scary, I might look at lining the tunnels with fleece etc too in that case!

Wow that looks brilliant! and your little one is gorgeous too!
I'm very tempted by that cage but want to wait for the price to drop again.
You kitchen looks very similar to mine I have a little work surface ledge which I want the cage to sit under.

Looks great!

Glad you managed to get it to fit under the work top after all. It looks like it was made for that space.

I know, it's such a perfect space for it and near the fridge and bin- so easy access for feeding and cleaning!:)) It's behind the sink so they like watching me wash up in the hope I'll give them a treat when I'm done! I had to take the wheels off, the kitchen is getting refitted post flood in a few weeks, but the OH won't let me ask them to make the counter a few cm higher to accommodate the wheels- git!
