Up until now I have been using paper pellet cat litter in the pigs hay trays , the house bunnys litter tray and the rat cage. With 7 pigs over 4 cages plus the bunny and the massive rat mansion I was going through a 25l bag a week which was proving expensive at around £50 every 4 weeks 
. Having recently become self employed as a pet photographer money is much tighter than it was so something had to be done. I had looked at Fitch paper bedding before but never tried it as I prefer to buy pet supplies in brick and mortar shops so I always know I can get more.
Fitch comes in two pack sizes 10kg and 20kg bales with the larger being the better value option at £21. The thought of storing a 20kg bale seemed like a massive task with no sizes given anywhere as to how much of my already oversubscribed animal room it would take up. I took the plunge and ordered the 20kg bale even though lifting it up the stairs in my upper villa was fun
My reason for this post is to provide hopefully useful info for anyone considering Fitch with a pic of the size of the 20kg bale and to later add how long it lasts me with my pigs, rats and bunny. Pictured with a grid for scale (sorry the pic is sideways). Hope this helps someone.
