Considering investing in this for my lad as I've heard good things. Does anyone have any advices/experience?

I love it! I wouldn't use anything else for my little guys. It can be quite an expensive option depending on your cage size and budget but I find it lasts well and is so lovely it's worth the extra cost! I can get 4 or 5 cage cleans out of 1 bale for a cage which is the equivelant of 2 2x4 c&c cages with lofts so obviously a smaller cage would get more changes out of it - maybe 8-10 (or more). I find that in my cage it only needs changing every 10 days or so but I do have a huge cage so their mess gets spread out, they also do most of their toileting in their hay loft and I remove/change the worst soiled bits every few days to make it last longer.

All in all, even in a smaller cage I think it would work well and I'd reccomend it to anyone :)

Another huge fan! I use it for their indoor cage when they come in the house. I also use it for my hamster who loves it and has become adept at building magnificent mansions with it. Unfortunately I have a huge c&c in the shed so it's too expensive to use in there but that's the only reason I don't use it in their main cage.

i love this stuff too, I've been using it for months now and it beats everything else I've tried hands down, i put a good layer of newspaper under it. I have three cages to clean and one bale lasts me nine times so three weeks if you have one cage that would last you two months and a bit! :)

i'm a fan aswell. i use it for rabbit litter trays and for the piggy cage when i haven't managed to dry any fleeces in time. :)

Brilliant! Mikey's cage is 108 x 108 at the moment but I'm planning on expanding in the next few months so il definitely be investing in some of this! Il give it a try with my rabbit and ratties too! X

I've been considering Fitch too, heard so many good things! Experienced users: How long would a bale last with 2 2x3's?

Lydia, did you happen to ask this on a cavy fb group earlier!? If so I'm the girl that replied to you hehe!

My hamster loves fitch and it lasts her millions of years. The guinea pigs like it too. Nice and soft and absorbent. Great.
