Fitch Bedding?

Has anyone heard anything about the recent shortage of fitch? I have just emailed them to ask if there is a date for more stock but just wondered if anyone else had done the same and had a response. I have no idea what I am going to use if they are stopping supplying it.
 
I emailed them and got no reply! :no:

I might try phoning them, i love it so much!
 
Hey guys I just phoned Fitch,

The lady was lovely, basically they have had sooooo many online orders that they couldn't keep up with them and didn't want to disappoint customers by not sending it out on time or not have enough in stock.

It will go back online at some point but they need time to catch up with the ordering first, if you live near you can still pick it up. They said they had no idea how popular it would become.

So pleased i was worried they we're out of stock.

Personally i think this was really sensible of them, this way there's no unhappy customers we just need to be patient for a while.
 
What a relief. Thanks so much MushiiPeas. I just hope they up their production rates and that they get it back in before my bag runs out.
 
Hey guys, i come bearing even more good news, Fitch emailed me back saying that you can order by phone.

Can't believe i went out and bought megazorb today in a panic, silly me!

So when i get paid on Friday i might have to stock up! LOL :yahoo:
 
Fitch has boomed, about a year ago I posted a thread on hamster central and basically all hammy owners on there switched over and its taken off on here also, and on other animal forums I am not suprised they cant keep up haha :D theres a lot of us nutters about. I use finacard and fitch combined so will just use finacard I guess :D
 
Good thing I kept hold of all my fleece after changing to fitch. We've just about run out and it's clean out day tomorrow. It's great that it's become popular but I hope they don't sneak the price up because of this :no:

Me too!

I get a bale and with 4 cages it last my 3 weeks, maybe i use too much but i don't think so, i just measured with a ruler it's 2/2.5cm thick?
 
I emailed Fitch and yes you can order direct over the phone. I was doing a charity rescue stall yesterday so no chance to phone but I will ring them from work this week to order a bale. One bale lasts my 2 hamsters months and they love it. Megazorb and hemp beddi g always to me smell a bit musty so we all like Fitch here!
 
When I first heard about them I thought they would be a rather big company but when I went to collect from them it was a smallish warehouse with only a handful of people working there! So I'm not surprised they are feeling a little overwhelmed with their increasing customer base!
 
I ordered 2 bales on the phone on Friday morning and they said it's should be here tomo or Wednesday!

Their delivery service is really quick!

Great company and great bedding :)
