Hello,

I have noticed this wet googie ball kind of brownish/orange thing in my piggies cage and I am abit concerned as I have never seen anything like it, I noticed it today I have two boys 5 month old, I just hope they aren’t really I’ll :(

I have only had them for a month

Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated:)

Do you have a photo of it you could upload to show us?

If it's a photo you can upload direct to the forum, if it's a video you need to upload it to somewhere like YouTube and then give us the link.

Hello and welcome. You have to wait until you have “new born pup” appear under your name. Then you can post a photo.

If it's a photo you can upload direct to the forum, if it's a video you need to upload it to somewhere like YouTube and then give us the link.
Update: I forgot my password to the forum or I would have updated sooner, turns out it was a carrot, still not sure why it was gooey, thank you for the help!

Assuming those boys are OK then!
I once found what looked like a glob of black mucous. I was panicking and checking everypig's back end to see who might have pooped this thing out. Turned out to be a dead slug - not a very big one. Hubs had brought it in on some grass which they'd eaten by the time I got back so no evidence other than the blob. Felt a bit of a twerp when the penny finally dropped!

The boys are perfectly fine, that’s quite funny and exactly how I’m feeling now haha. First time piggy owner and I started researching a bunch of things that caught me quite off guard and I resorted to instant panic mode, thankfully it was just a carrot!

If it makes you feel any better, I remember the question I joined the forum to ask - can they use a bowl of water while I get a replacement for a broken water bottle? Yes, yes they can. We've all been there before!
