First Time Nails Trim, Bless Them!

it was our first ever go at trimming our piggies nails. Thankfully we could see the quick through their clear nails. They were so good. I sat and held them whilst my wife did the trimming. Neither Treacle nor Ruby struggled in my grip and they only squeaked once when we got a bit close.

As a reward for being super good I gave them a green bean each to eat. I then folded out their run in the living room and spread their favourite fluffy blanket across underneath. I am currently sat in there with them and they are popcorning around and around. Happy as anything.

I am soo impressed with them both this evening and it gives me great heart that as new piggies owners we have achieved another milestone!

Not pleasant to do at all, but glad it was successful. And they didn't hold it against me either afterwards

Glad it went well! I've had a go for the first time tonight with my 4 girls. I was really nervous and still haven't managed to trim them all. I'll do it in stages so it's less stressful for all.
